Ride Begins
We started our journey at 5:00 am and I was a little bit late, other member were waiting for me and another member at Khordha flyover. The other one was still late and we waited for him for a few moments and then started our journey BBSR TO CHILIKA.
Our first stop was at Jankia toll gate (Just after toll gate) to have tiffin and tea. The funny part was that I had to pay the tiffin for everyone as I was late to arrive at the grouping spot.
Next stop Keshpur Ghati (Chilika Viewpoint)
The next stop was Keshpur Ghati (Chilika View Point). There was 60 years old Durga mandir and people used to give small change to pujari or even drop coins for new temple or give packet of flowers.
I (Odia Nana) came to know from locals that the road was also two-way two lane that was causing many accidents but later developed to one way four lane to increase safety. Gave some donation.
Ranjan bhai made setup for his vlog shooting. Someone mocking Ranjan bhai in a funny way as old man. After that all bike lined up and did a photoshoot of bikes.
I was at the small light house, so I went down for time laps videography and photography and a small dance.
On the small watch tower I noticed people written their names even slang words on the column surface by scratching with stone, metal or something else and I request everyone not to do such things on a tourist place.
After that we continued our ride and, on the way, met some locals and came to know that many other moto riders also visited to that place before.
Next Stop at Barakuli (Pantha Niwas)
After a few moments we arrived at a Pantha Niwas at Chilika, Barakul to have some lunch. At first it looked closed but fortunately it wasn’t. It was air-conditioned room and we sat close to an AC.
After some time, we received our food and had our lunch. We didn’t wait for any staff to serve food to us and did it by ourselves. As it was raining outside we waited for 2 hours and decided to go back to BBSR and not to go to Chilika Lake as it was b day of Rahul bhai and celebrate b-day at Moto Monest.
Final Stop to Chilika Lake
But but but we finally decided to go to Chillika lake and have some moments there. There were many local boats ready to sale and if you need a ride you have to book a ticket first.
It was still raining but we enjoyed the view, lined up our bike there for a photoshoot and enjoyed our moment.
Some local kids were watching us from a distance and came to us. They were very happy to see us there. We had a small chat and after some time we Began our return journey.
